Lockup & Fixing Carpentry
Lockup and fixing are where a build either becomes easy or expensive to finish. We deliver both stages tidily so plasterers, painters and tilers can do their best work.

Lockup gets the home sealed and weatherproof. Fixing is the stage that decides whether the finish looks sharp or rough. We take both seriously because painters, tilers and plasterers all inherit what we leave behind.
What good fixing looks like
- Square jambs and doors that close cleanly
- Skirting with tight scribes and minimal joins
- Architraves with even reveals all around
- No proud nails, no torn timber, no rushed cuts
A clear process from first call to handover
- 01
Lockup
Doors and windows in, building sealed, ready for plasterer and other internal trades.
- 02
Fixing
Once plastering is complete - doors hung, skirting and architraves fixed, trims tidied.
- 03
Pre-paint check
We walk the home with the painter so any prep issues are sorted before paint goes on.

Lockup & Fixing - your questions
+Can you take on lockup and fixing as separate packages?
Yes - we are happy to do either stage on its own, or both together. Most builders prefer both for continuity.
